When To Exercise?

Is it necessary to exercise only in the morning?

Matthew's reply: Hi Anju, if you are busy and do not have time to exercise in the morning then anytime is fine. The main benefits of exercising in the morning (before breakfast) are to burn off excess fat, work up an appetite for breakfast (the most important meal of the day) and to get your body and mind ready for the day ahead.

In particular, if first thing in the morning you do some of the exercises on this site, such as the long life program you will have more energy and emotional balance throughout the day.

I do the above program (or at least part of it) each morning, then at night before bed I do exercises from the evening program to help me unwind and sleep well.
