Massage for Bell's Palsy

by Chris

Can you provide facial massage exercises that would address symptoms associated w/ Bell's Palsy (i.e. weakness in eye muscles, mouth muscles, facial muscles all on just one side). Dr. says is a temporary condition but would like to keep area stimulated plus relieve symptoms as soon as possible.

Matthew's reply: Hi Chris, for some self-massage techniques take a look at these face exercises. While these may well help relieve Bell's Palsy symptoms I feel acupuncture may be more beneficial as it will work on a deeper level to address underlying imbalances.

A good site for locating acupuncturists is acufinder.com.

Any questions or comments about acupuncture or massage for Bell's Palsy just post them below.

All the best,

Matthew
