Ankle Point for Lower Back Pain
by: Anonymous

I read this and began massaging around the point and literally felt a sensation in my lower back! Wow... that is neat!

Matthew's reply: Hi, that's great to hear. And it's just one of many simple Chinese self-massage techniques for lower back (and hip) pain. My favorite lower back massage technique is the Lumbar Rub. Just put a little oil on your lower back and use your palms or knuckles to rub up and down either side of your spine and across to your hips and butt muscles - where ever the pain and tension is. Do it for several minutes until the area gets red and hot, 2-3 times a day. Any questions about this superb technique for lower back pain post them below.
