How to stop fear and panic attacks

by Simone
(from the uk)

Are there any acupressure points to stop fears in their tracks? eg panic attacks, fear of passing out, anxiety etc.

Matthew's reply: Hi Simone, acupressure for fear, anxiety, stress etc can be very effective. Most people give up too soon though - it's a very gentle self-therapy and you must do it regularly and give it a chance to help you.

The Anxiety-Stress section of this site shows you how to locate and press several common acupressure points for fear, anxiety and stress. Also included are several excellent breathing exercises which combine well with acupressure to calm and relax you.

If you have any questions please post them - I'd be happy to help. All the best.
