Exercises for Sore Arms

by Maryg
(pa usa)

I fell on ice two times and hurt my biceps on both arms each time. Are there exercises that would help?

Matthew's reply: Hi, it really depends on what exactly the problem is. For sore, bruised or strained muscles I always use a Chinese herbal liniment or herbal sticking plasters. One side of each plaster is coated with Chinese herbs for pain and to circulate blood - you simply stick them on the sore muscles or joints. You can usually get the plasters and Chinese herbal liniment at Asian supermarkets and Chinese herbal or acupuncture clinics. There are many kinds though so it's best to ask before buying.

Exercise and digestive problems
by: coleman

How do I solve digestive problems with exercise?

Matthew's reply: Hi Coleman, it really depends what kind of digestive problems you have. One indispensable exercise for digestion is the Ab Lift (see the Abdominals section of this site). Others that may be useful include the Back Twist (Back-Neck section) and Abs and Stomach Massage (Abdominals section). Post here if you have questions or comments.
