Chinese Medicine for Petit Mal Seizures
by: Matthew

Yes, good idea to try acupressure and reflexology on your son and good luck trying TCM too. Please make sure you consult an experienced practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine, not a physician or other health professional who does not specialize in Chinese medicine, i.e. Chinese herbal medicine and/or acupuncture.

Look for someone who has done at least a 4 year full time degree in traditional Chinese medicine, either Chinese herbal medicine and/or acupuncture.

Regarding something scaring your son and causing his seizures, I cannot say. I have no knowledge of this kind of thing.

All the best and do not give up in your search for the best ways to help your son.

Petit Mal Seizures.

Wow he's never had TCM, that sounds fascinating! I will definitely google it. We weaned him off of the Keppra, slowly and have started him on some natural herbs. We see a Chiropractor that practices natural medicine and incorporates a lot of Chinese medicine.

I'm also studying Reflexology and Acupressure and using it on my son. It seems like this all has been doing a lot better, anything is better then the dreams of demons trying to kill him in his bedroom and behavioral problems, all from the side effects of that medicine. Since hes been off of it has the sweet loving kid he used to be, and not seeing demons in his room.

I'm open to anything natural that will help cure these seizures. I met a lady whom owns a natural food store, and she told me that since my son wears glasses and they are kind of thick for his age (he's 9) that the seizures could have been a result of a scare he had while I was pregnant with him, or even a scare recently. This was absolutely amazing, although we couldn't pin point what he was talking about. Do you know anything about this?
