Not only does it stretch and tone your chest muscles, firm and tone your breasts and loosen your shoulders, it's also an excellent general warm-up exercise first thing in the morning, before sports, and before deep breathing exercises, meditation, tai qi and qi gong.

Chest Expander Exercise

An Exercise to Tone the Chest, Firm the Breasts and Loosen the Shoulders

1. Stand with your feet about shoulder-width apart and your back straight.

Bend your knees slightly and sink your weight into your legs.

Look straight ahead throughout the exercise.

Fold your arms in front of your chest.

2. Slowly and rhythmically begin swinging your arms out to the sides, then back into the folded position in front of your chest.

Feel your chest and shoulders expanding and stretching.

Out to the sides then back again is one repetition.

Do one to three sets of 15-20 reps.

Take some slow, deep breaths in between each set and after the last one.
