ACL Tear In Knee - Non Surgical Options?

by Wally
(San Diego, California USA)

Exercises for a torn ACL on the knee, to help strengthen instead of surgery. So I can return to running , I am 54, Thank you very much.

Sincerely, Wally

Matthew's reply: Hi Wally, thanks for contacting me. My best suggestion for non-surgical options for your torn ACL is acupuncture. Acupuncture and related therapies like Chinese herbal medicine and Chinese massage are typically very good for sports injuries of all kinds including sprained joints, strained muscles, torn ligaments and recovery from broken bones.

Acupuncture, etc, can stop pain, increase healing, strengthen the area and more. If you don't know of an acupuncturist in your area try Acufinder.com.

I was an acupuncturist in Australia for 10 years so if you have any questions about having acupuncture for your ACL tear just post below.

All the best,

Matthew
