Ab Lift for Reducing Belly Fat

Suppose i do it everyday morning and afternoon on an empty stomach - how much time it will take to reduce my tummy in inches?

Matthew's reply: Hi Sunil, if you are also doing some cardio exercise several times a week to burn excess fat overall and you're eating the right foods for your particular body type and metabolism, then you'll see results within days.

I suspect though if you have quite a lot of excess tummy fat then you aren't doing much physical exercise and/or are eating too much of the wrong foods. Foods that can contribute to excess belly fat are starchy ones like white rice, white bread, pasta, pizza, cakes, etc.

Eliminate these foods and start doing short, hard workouts like running up stairs or skipping and you WILL see quick results. Post here if you have questions or comments.

Spot Reduction of Belly Fat

I mean no offense and I am asking this out of curiosity. From what i have heard spot reduction of fat is not possible. Which includes one's belly. The only way the body can shed flab is overall from the body and in the bargain we tend to lose fat on the belly. Please correct me if I am wrong. RK

Matthew's reply: Hi Roy, you're right, exercise reduces excess body fat overall, not just in one part of the body only. For best results for losing belly fat, the abs exercises on this site (like the Ab Lift) should be done in conjunction with some form of cardio exercise, like sport, several times a week.

Having said this, the Ab Lift alone, when combined with deep breathing will certainly firm and tone your belly - deep breathing increases oxygenation of your system, which increases metabolism, which burns excess fat. Any further questions or comments feel free.
