Problem with Ab Crunches

I had cyst removal surgery on my tailbone area and its too tender to lay on my back completely now. Are there any ab exercises that I can do while not lying on my back?

Matthew's reply: Hi, there are various ab exercises you can do while standing. These target not just your abs but your entire mid-section, including your sides and lower back. Your whole mid-section or core is interconnected so exercising your waist instead of just the front area (abs) makes for a more balanced workout. This site's waist exercises program shows you 9 exercises and techniques on video for a strong, toned core section. All of them are done standing.

Any questions just post below.

All the best,

Matthew

Ab Workout? Crunches Don't Work!

I have been training for months to get the perfect six pack and it just doesn't seem to be working. What workout could i do instead of crunches and other easy techniques?

Matthew's reply: Hi, what are the best ab exercises is one of the most common questions I am asked. Please take a look at other postings I have made about ab exercises and let me know if you have any questions.

One thing I will say here is that having a 6 pack does not necessarily mean you will be healthier. Exercises like the Ab Lift that I recommend in other postings may not give you 6 pack abs but will most likely (and more importantly) improve the condition of various internal organs, such as your stomach and intestines.
