You may already know this but you should not add ordinary table salt to your food. Like white sugar, ordinary white table salt might make your food taste better but it does nothing for your health.

Common table salt, like white sugar, is a highly refined product containing virtually no healthful nutrients. Ordinary table salt may also contain aluminum, a toxic metal added to make the salt flow easier out of the bottle. Other toxic chemicals may also have been used to bleach the salt to make it look whiter and more pure.

Amazing isn't it, what food manufacturers are allowed to do?

Throw away your bottles of common table salt NOW and go and buy a bottle of unrefined, natural sea salt.

Unrefined, natural sea salt should not affect your blood pressure and it willl add many essential trace minerals to your diet.

Don't go overboard though. Just add a pinch to meals at the end of cooking, and try to avoid foods that have had common table salt (and sugar!) added to them.
