What To Do When Diet and Exercise Does Not Work

Very few health problems are not caused or at least aggravated by poor diet, lack of exercise and irregular lifestyle.

Improving these aspects of your life WILL make a big difference. But what about when you've improved all these things and you still have health issues?

1. Get a Western medical check. This may involve just one or two specific tests, or you may need a complete check up. I'm 46 years old and starting 3 years ago I now get yearly, full-body checks at a Western medical centre here in China. I rarely take Western medicine but I have piece of mind knowing that according to the checks and tests I am in good health.

2. See a professional practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine for acupuncture and/or Chinese herbal medicine. This is the oldest, continuously practiced medical system in the world and it can help you get rid of many, many health problems - too many to list here.

If you do have a serious problem Chinese medicine may be all you need, or it can be combined with Western medicine. Cancer is one example whereby Chinese herbal medice can be taken to minimize chemo's harsh side-effects.
